- Facilitating access for NASDEA member agencies to the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC).
- Securing the establishment of a National Drug Pointer Index to enhance officer safety and strengthen investigations.
- Engaging with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to ensure inclusion of accurate drug data in the Uniform Crime Reporting Program (UCR) launched in 1992.
- Promoting a national evidence-based Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program.
- Working with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to establish policies that further enhance coordination with NASDEA members.
- Securing a NASDEA representative on the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Committee.
- Engaging with the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).
- Participates as a member of the Department of Homeland Security’s State and Local Intelligence Council (SLIC).
- Assisting member agencies in the development and establishment of:
- Associate Member of the Nationwide Deconfliction Council
- Associate Member of the National Narcotic Officers' Associations' Coalition
- Clandestine Laboratory Programs
- Innovative Contemporary Investigative Strategies
- Marijuana Eradication Programs
- Officer Safety Training
- Operation Pipeline Highway Drug Interdiction Programs
- Precursor Chemical Monitoring Programs
- Programs to increase staffing and funding
- Assist member agencies in the development of policies and procedures
