Securing the establishment of a National Drug Pointer Index to enhance officer safety and strengthen investigations.
Engaging with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to ensure inclusion of accurate drug data in the Uniform Crime Reporting Program (UCR) launched in 1992.
Promoting a national evidence-based Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program.
Working with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to establish policies that further enhance coordination with NASDEA members.
Securing a NASDEA representative on the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Committee.
Engaging with the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).
Participates as a member of the Department of Homeland Security’s State and Local Intelligence Council (SLIC).
