Governor Kemp said, “Chris has dedicated his career to the people of our state as a proud member of law enforcement. With over 35 years of experience at the GBI, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to this role. I am confident he will bring the same level of commitment to the job that he has shown throughout his years of service.”
Director Hosey started his career with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in 1987 and has served in a number of high-level positions within a 35-year span. He was just recently appointed as the second-in-command of the agency. Director Hosey’s appointment will officially take effect August 1, 2023.
Director Hosey is one of the most tenured and respected members of NASDEA and has been the Region IV Representative for several years.
On behalf of the entire NASDEA organization the same sentiments expressed by Gov. Kemp are echoed. We wish Director Hosey all the best as he embarks on this new position.
